Zusammenfassung
Die Zerlegung von Zeitreihen in systematische Komponenten, wie Trend, Saison und Effekte von beobachtbaren Einflußgrößen, und in eine irreguläre Restkomponente ist eine grundlegende Problemstellung der Zeitreihenanalyse. Ein Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es aufzuzeigen, wie sich grundlegende Ideen klassischer Methoden zur Bestimmung von Trend- und Saisonkomponenten metrischer Zeitreihen in neueren nichtparametrischen und bayesianischen Ansätzen wiederfinden, und unter welchen Umständen sich nichtparametrische und bayesianische Modellierungen als äquivalent erweisen. Darauf aufbauend werden Möglichkeiten zur Adaption und Erweiterung entsprechender Methodiken für den Fall von kategorialen Zeitreihen und Längsschnittdaten beschrieben, der gegenwärtige Forschungsstand dieser Thematik diskutiert und Ausblicke auf künftige Forschungsaktivitäten gegeben.
