Zusammenfassung

Die Wirksamkeit der klassischen Neuroleptika zur Rezidivprophylaxe schizophrener Psychosen darf als gesichert gelten. Trotzdem kommt es in der klinischen Praxis etwa bei der Hälfte der vormals akut schizophren erkrankten Patienten innerhalb eines Jahres zu einem Rezidiv mit erneuter Hospitalisierung (Kissling 1991).
