Zusammenfassung

Das Perikard ist eine steife Membran, welche die 4 Herzkammern umhüllt und seinen Ursprung an den großen Arterien und Venen hat. Es besteht aus einem inneren viszeralen und einem äußeren parietalen Blatt. Der Raum zwischen beiden Blättern kann bis zu 50 ml Flüssigkeit enthalten [22]. Das Perikard ist darüberhinaus am Sternum und Processus xyphoideus, am Zwerchfell sowie an der Wirbelsäule angeheftet [27].
