Allein in den bundesdeutschen Kliniken fallen jährlich über eine Milhon Tonnen Abfall an. Ein Großteil dieser Abfälle läßt sich vermeiden oder mit vertretbarem Aufwand sortenrein in hochwertige Wertstoffe für ein Recycling trennen.
