Zusammenfassung
Es erscheint vom Prinzip her völlig vernünftig, daß KM, die i. allg. den Patienten in hoher Konzentration und hohen Dosen injiziert werden, besser verträglich sein müßten, wenn sie Körpertemperatur haben. Viele Radiologen benutzen einen der von der Industrie angebotenen thermostatkontrollierten Heizschränke, um ihre KM auf 37°C zu erwärmen. Abgesehen von der Toxizität und Verträglichkeit vermindert die Erwärmung des KM auf Körpertemperatur auf jeden Fall deutlich seine Viskosität und macht die Injektion, besonders über dünne Nadeln und Katheter, leichter [1].
