Zusammenfassung

Kopfschmerzen gehören zu jenen Beschwerden, mit denen Allgemeinärzte und Praktiker häufig konfrontiert werden [65]. In der Neurologie stellen Kopfschmerzen das am häufigsten auftretende Symptom überhaupt dar [36, 47, 106]. Anhand von Daten des „Third National Morbidity Survey“ ordnete Hopkins den Symptomenkomplex Kopfschmerz/Migräne unter die 5 häufigsten neurologischen Störungen ein, derentwegen Patienten ärztliche Hilfe suchten [64].
