Zusammenfassung

Im Rahmen der Kapitel 2, 4 und 13 wird auf die Bedeutung des serotoninergen Systems für die Pathogenese der Migräne hingewiesen. Eine ausführliche Darstellung der Physiologie und Pharmakologie dieses Systems findet sich in Kap. 12. Dort werden auch die verschiedenen Rezeptoren und Rezeptorsubtypen des serotoninergen Systems vorgestellt.
