Zusammenfassung
Für die Untersuchung kognitiver Störungen bei Patienten mit einer Hirnkrankeit steht ein großes Arsenal an psychologischen Testinstrumenten zur Verfügung. Einige davon sind mit dem Ziel entwickelt worden, Patienten mit einer Alterskrankheit zu identifizieren, die zur Demenz führt, in erster Linie also Patienten mit Alzheimerscher Krankheit. Einige gehören zu dem Repertoire der Untersuchungsverfahren, mit denen man Patienten nach Schlaganfällen oder nach Kopftraumen untersucht. Die am häufigsten verwendeten Tests können in drei großen Kategorien zusammengefaßt werden.
