Zusammenfassung
Karzinome der Mundhöhle werden zunehmend im jüngeren Lebensalter diagnostiziert. Es überwiegen verhornende Plattenepithelkarzinome. Sie können aus scheinbar gesunder Schleimhaut (MC DONALD 1975) oder aus dysplastischen Epithelherden entstehen. Multizentrische Karzinome werden nicht selten beobachtet (DE VRIES et al. 1986, GLUCKMAN 1980).
