Abstract
ZnSe:Mn MS diodes are made from two types of ZnSe crystals grown by iodine vapour transport method (A) or sublimation method (B), respectively. Relations between EL intensity J, current I, reverse bias V and EL efficiency η for A and B diodes are measured. It is found that for A diodes the curves can be distinguished by three different regions. The most important result obtained here is that both J and η increase with excitation simultaneously when electric field is sufficiently high.
