Zusammenfassung

Primäre Hyperurikämie und/oder Gicht können 3 Arten von Nierenerkrankungen hervorrufen:

  • die akute Harnsäurenephropathie, verursacht durch die Ausfällung von Harnsäurekristallen im Tubuluslumen (Klinenberg et al. 1975; Kelton et al. 1978; Conger et al. 1976; Conger u. Falk 1977; Conger 1977);

  • die Harnsäurenephrolithiasis, die eine schleichendere Form des gleichen Vorgangs ist, wobei es jedoch statt zu einer diffusen Ausfällung zur Bildung von Harnsteinen im Harntrakt kommt (Gutman u. Yü 1968);

  • die chronische Gichtnephropathie, die eine chronische Form der interstitiellen Nephritis als Folge der langdauernden Ablagerung von Natriumuratkristallen im Nierenparenchym ist (Emmerson u. Row 1975; Talbott u. Terplan 1960; Berlow u. Beilin 1968; Linnane et al. 1981; Leumann u. Wegman 1983).
