Zusammenfassung

Angst als häufiges Symptom von Schläfenlappenprozessen hatten schon Mulder u. Daly (1952) bei 100 Patienten mit Schläfenlappenstörungen einschließlich 24 Tumoren angetroffen. Sie hatten ferner darauf hingewiesen, daß die „temporale“ Angst sowohl als Anfallssymptom (ictal anxiety) wie auch als anfallsinter-valläres Symptom (interictal anxiety) vorkommt. Harper u. Roth (1962) hatten außerdem keine bedeutsamen Unterschiede zwischen der Angst bei Schläfenlappenanfällen und der Angst des neurotischen „phobic anxiety depersonalisa-tion-syndrome“ ermitteln können. Unterschiede zwischen beiden Angstformen fanden sich eher in den vorhandenen oder fehlenden Auslösebedingungen und im Persönlichkeitshintergrund.
