On Some Recent Applications of Aerogels

Abstract

The general method of preparation of aerogels by hypercritical drying in an autoclave as well as some physicochemical properties of the resulting oxides are detailed by one of us at this Symposium [1]. A few of their catalytic applications were previously described elsewhere [2].
