Abstract
The described system provides the different departments of a hospital organization with facilities for archive management and lending administrations. It can be used for different kinds of collections of objects e.g. X-ray folders, medical records and non-patient related objects as books etc. By interfacing to other subsystems of the HIS, the flow of the objects within the organization can be monitored and controlled.
