Microcomputers are often advertised to be useful in helping with bookkeeping or similar home activities. When a microcomputer is at hand, truly useful home applications seem to be quite rare. In our family the computer is used mainly for writing, for maintaining some lists where a sorting procedure is essential, and in controlling the treatment response of a diabetic child.
