Nonlinear Phenomena in Physics

Part of the book series: Springer Proceedings in Physics ((SPPHY,volume 3))

Abstract

We use the Rayleigh-Bénard convection and a Chemical Reaction problem in order to introduce various concepts in Nonlinear Physics. The nonlinear phenomena described occur in many other fields, as for example Optics, Acoustics, etc.
