Zusammenfassung
Die verstümmelnde Operation einer interskapulothorakalen Amputation wird nur selten durchgeführt, und wenn sie ausgeführt werden muß, so ist dies am häufigsten wegen eines Osteosarkoms des Schultergürtels der Fall. Die Operation kann durch einen vorderen oder hinteren Zugang erfolgen (Slocum 1949).
