Abstract

Certain severely handicapped people like spastics or tetrapegics, are totally unable to move or perform everyday tasks without assistance. Highly sophisticated electronic devices have been developed in an attempt to help these people. These devices have clearly benefitted from recent developments in electronics and the latest aids are very similar in conception to home computers.
