Abstract
Now we begin a study of the scalar equation
The following topics will be taken up:
-
Comparison and Lyapunov methods
-
Stationary solutions and their stability analysis
-
Wave front solutions and their stability analysis
-
The inhomogeneous Fisher’s equation and dines (briefly)
Aronson (1976) and Diekmann and Temme (1976) provided surveys with slightly different emphases. We shall always assume that f is continuously differentiable for all values of u.
