Abstract
After the presentation of general features of atomic and molecular collision theory in the preceding chapter, we now take up the consequent treatment of the dynamics restricting ourselves first to adiabatic processes with respect to electronic motion. Some more general concepts taking into account the coupling of electronic and nuclear motions are briefly discussed in chapters 4. and 5.
