Studies in the Chemical Ionization of Hydrocarbons

  • Chapter
Ion Cyclotron Resonance Spectrometry

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Chemistry ((LNC,volume 7))

Abstract

Chemical ionization mass spectrometry(CIMS) has become an important tool in the field of analytical chemistry. CI studies are usually performed using commercial mass spectrometers which are capable of working at relatively high pressures (about 1 torr).
