Summary
The relationship between neoplastic diseases (with the exception of the leukoses) and extra- medullary hematopoiesis in the spleen was investigated on the basis of 250 autopsy cases. The results are tabulated. In addition, the histotopography and morphogenesis of extra-medullary myelopoiesis in the spleen were examined including cytochemical observations.
