Zusammenfassung

In a number of earlier papers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5), mainly published in the Acta Medica Scandinavica during the years 1956 through 1959, we have presented studies on several aspects of myocardial infarction, based on material from Malmö in Sweden. We have now made a new follow-up, giving the status of our patients up to March 1st, 1959. We intend to present some of the results in the present paper, prefaced by a general review of the cases studied.
