Zusammenfassung

Angesichts der Schwierigkeiten, welche mit der Auf-schreibung des Druckes in den Hohlen des Herzens verbunden sind, und der eingreifenden Operationen, welche sie voraus-setzt, ist der Wunsch nach einer einfacheren Methode nahe-liegend. Man kann fragen, ob aus den Bewegungen der Aussenwand des Herzens bez. aus den Bewegungen, welche das Herz den benachbarten Körpertheilen mittheilt, nicht Auf-schlusse üiber die Vorgänge im Innern in ahnlicher Weise zu erlangen sind, wie aus der Beobachtung der pulsirenden Arterie auf gewisse Vorgänge im Blutstrom geschlossen werden kann
