Zusammenfassung

Als Duodenum bezeichnen wir jenen beim Erwachsenen etwa 30 cm langen Darmteil, der zwischen Pylorus und Flexura duodeno-jejunalis gelegen ist. Man kann nach B r a u s drei Abschnitte von grundsätzlich verschiedenem Verhalten zum Bauchfell unterscheiden: Einen kurzen Anfangsteil mit kurzer mesenterialer Befestigung, die an das große Netz und an das Mesocolon transversum anschließt und eine gewisse Beweglichkeit gestattet. Der zweite, längste Teil liegt retroperitoneal, ist aber nicht nur vorn vom Peritoneum überzogen, sondern außerdem auch noch vom Mesenterium bedeckt. Der dritte Teil ist kurz und hat individuell wechselnde Beziehungen zum Bauchfell je nach der Art der Anheftung des Dünndarms an der Unterfläche des Mesocolon transversum; zwischen intraperitonealer Lage des unteren Duodenalteiles und zum Teil noch retroperitonealer Lagerung des obersten Jejunums finden sich alle Übergänge.
