Die Behandlung der frischen medialen Schenkelhalsfrakturen

Zusammenfassung

Seitdem Roth in Band 6 dieser Ergebnisse vor nun 25 Jahren ein ausführliches Referat über den frischen Schenkelhalsbruch und den isolierten Bruch des Trochanter major und minor gegeben hat, hat sich dieses Gebiet der Chirurgie sowohl bezüglich des theoretischen Wissens als auch bezüglich der Behandlungsmethoden und Heilerfolge bedeutungsvoll entwickelt. Dies gilt im wesentlichen für die sog. medialen Schenkelhalsfrakturen; die Behandlung dieser Brüche steht jetzt im Brennpunkt einer der lebhaftesten Diskussionen der Chirurgie unserer Zeit. Was die lateralen Schenkelhalsbrüche betrifft, hat die einfache Traktionsbehandlung nach einer rationellen Reposition so zufrieden-stellende Resultate ergeben, daß diesen Brüchen ein verhältnismäßig geringes Interesse gewidmet worden ist. Nachuntersuchungen über Spätresultate sind spärlich. Eine gründlichere Prüfung der Behandlungsresultate ist indessen wünschenswert, besonders in Anbetracht neuzeitlicher Empfehlungen der operativen Behandlung (Nagelung) auch für diese Brüche. Ich habe deshalb meinem Assistenten Dr. Åke Grevillius vorgesehlagen, die Resultate der Behandlung lateraler Schenkelhalsfrakturen in der chirurgischen Universitätsklinik in Uppsala zusammenzustellen und seinen Bericht meiner Arbeit über die medialen Brüche anschließen zu lassen (S. 829).
