Zusammenfassung

Es soll im folgenden durchaus nicht der Versuch gemacht werden eine Darstellung der Vitaminlehre zu geben. Sie war in den letzten Jahren wiederholt Gegenstand von vorzüglichen Zusammenfassungen, von denen allerdings oft gilt, daß sie schon beim Erscheinen veraltet sind, was einerseits ein Beweis für die ungeheure Arbeit ist, die auf diesem Gebiete geleistet wird, andererseits aber auch für die großen methodischen Schwierigkeiten dieser Forschung.
