Electric Images; Green’s Function
In the closing section of Chapter VII, we saw an example of a case in which a potential with certain requirements as to its normal derivatives on a plane could be represented on one side of the plane by the potential of a point charge on the opposite side of the plane. This is an example of the use of electric images.
