Ein Überblick über Klinik und Kasuistik des basophilen Hypophysenadenoms

Zusammenfassung

Das Krankheitsbild, mit welchem sich diese Arbeit befaßt, zeigt, voll entwickelt, sehr charakteristische Züge: schnell auftretende, meist schmerzhafte Adipositas des Gesichtes, Halses und Stammes mit Aussparung der Extremi­täten; Osteoporose, namentlich der Wirbelsäule, und als Folge kyphotische Veränderungen und Rückenschmerzen; sexuelle Dystrophie: bei Frauen Amenorrhöe, bei Männern Impotenz ; Hypertrichose des Gesichtes und Stammes bei Frauen und jugendlichen Personen männlichen Geschlechts; Ausfall des Kopf haares ; plethorisches Aussehen der Haut, namentlich im Gesicht, Auftreten von dunkelroten Striae cutis distensae, vorwiegend am Unter­bauch, an den Oberschenkeln, Mammae und Oberarmen; Hypertonie; Poly­globulie ; Hyperglykämie, Glykosurie ; Schmerzen im Rücken und im Abdomen, leichte Ermüdbarkeit und allgemeine Körperschwäche.
