Zusammenfassung

Immer mehr hat sich die moderne klinische Diagnostik auf die Befunde, die der Blutforschung verdankt werden, begründet. Eine Reihe von Krankheitsbildern sind vorwiegend oder manche ausschließlich durch das Ergebnis der quantitativen und qualitativen Blutuntersuchung zu erkennen. Die fortschreitende Entwicklung der Untersuchungsmethoden hat bereits viele Irrtümer geklärt, und doch bestehen auch heute noch unter den einzelnen Forschern grundlegende Meinungsverschieheiten. Theorie steht gegeben Theorie, für alle sprechen eine Riehe von Forschungsergebnissen und mit ebenso vielen werden sie bestritten. Das aber die Klärung aller dieser schwebenden Fragen nicht nur ein rein theorestisches Interesse hat, sondern sich weitgehend im diagnostischen Wert der Ergebnisse vieler Untersuchungsmethoden auswirkt, ist es begründet, an eines dieser nocht nicht klargestellen Probleme heranzugehen.
