Zusammenfassung

Obgleich diese Abhandlung ausschließlich die Physiologie und Physio-pathologie des respiratorischen Gaswechsels behandeln soll, ist es doch notwendig, vorher eine kurze Beschreibung der anatomischen Struktur des Lungengewebes, als dem Ort des Gasstoffwechsels zu geben.

Die Arbeit wurde 1929 geschrieben und stellt die Entwicklung des Problems zu diesem Zeitpunkt dar
