Zusammenfassung
Specialized computer and software architectures are just now coming into existence to support generalized immersive visualization applications. These systems carry on a long tradition of evolving the field of effective communication of complex concepts through imagery. Combining core visualization computers and graphics systems with new software techniques and specialized peripherals, immersive visualization, or VR, systems enable users to immerse themselves into computer generated visualizations of real or imagined places or abstract representations of data.
