Summary
After pars plana vitrectomy und lensectomy you can find in the early state the different behaviour of temperatures gradients in the anterior segment possibly caused by hyperemia of the ciliar body and the iris.
Metabolite levels are changed to equalize the concentration gradients from anterior chamber to the vitreous.
