Abstract

Concepts and targets for sustainable urban development and scientific support of the adequate decision-making process are urgently needed. This goal can only be achieved on reproducible data on the relationship between the socio-economic efficiency and use of natural resources. Furthermore, this relation has to be established for urban working units, both structural and functional.
