Zusammenfassung
Die Ultraschall wird durch sogenannte piezoelektrische Kristalle erzeugt, die elektromagnetische Schwingungen in Ultraschallschwingungen umformen können, wobei dieser Vorgang auch umgekehrt reproduzierbar ist. Besonders geeignet für piezoelektrische Kristalle sind Bariumtitanat, Turmalin und Quarz.
