TLC in Clinical Diagnosis

  • Nepomuk Zöllner
  • Günther Wolfram

Abstract

It is difficult to write a chapter on application in a book which is devoted to methods without repeating what has already been said (and presumably better said) about thin-layer techniques and methods of separation. Without exaggeration it can be said that most of the TLC methods are applicable to medicine; for the solution of any particular medical problem nowadays, the multitude of possibilities offered by TLC should be considered. No attempt is made here to give detailed methods, as in other parts of this book. That would have involved simply repetition. We have, however, quoted original sources for procedures which are given in other chapters.
