TLC of Steroids and Related Compounds

Abstract

Earlier articles or monographs on TLC in general and on steroids or bile acids have been compiled by: Bobbitt, 1963 [23]; Galletti [204], Heftmann, 1965 [78]; Hofmann, 1964 [86]; Lisboa [108, 109, 214–216], Neher 1964 [129, 130]; Randerath, 1962 [139]; Sjövall [227]; Tschesche, Wulff and Richert, 1964 [171] and Waldi, 1962 [181]. Frontier regions have been treated in this book also, in the chapters on lipids by Mangold and on clinical diagnosis by Zöllner. Experimental details, e. g., on preparation or quantitative TLC, are given in the different chapters. The literature has been covered up to the end of 1965.
