Zusammenfassung
Hackmann (1) hat 1953 die tumorhemmende Wirkung von Actinomycin (Sanamycin) beim Ehrlich-Carcinom der Maus, beim Mäusesarkom S 37 und beim Walker-Carcinom der Ratte beobachtet. Diese Befunde wurden kurze Zeit später von Field und Mitarbeitern (2), sowie von Oettel (3), bestätigt. Vor kurzem fanden Nitta (4), Milton u. Goldstein (5), die wachstumshemmende Wirkung von Actinomycinen an HeLa-Zellen. Die cytostatische Wirkung von Actinomy-cin D (C3) haben Foley und Mitarbeiter (6) an 12 mikrobiologischen Testsystemen nachgewiesen. Mikroorganismen lassen sich nicht nur zum Nachweis cytostatisch wirksamer Verbindungen heranziehen, sondern können auch zum Studium über deren Wirkungsmechanismus dienen. Die Kenntnis der Wirkungsmechanismen der bis jetzt bekannten Cytostatika kann mit dazu beitragen, neue wirksame Verbindungen zu finden, die zur Chemotherapie maligner Tumoren eingesetzt werden können.
