Summary

A 13-year-old girl with pancreatic head tumor required a pancreatoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure). Pathohistological examination disclosed a pancreatic apudoma. The characteristics of this very rare tumor, its symptoms and treatment are described.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über ein 13jähriges Mädchen mit einem Pankreaskopftumor berichtet, der eine Duo-denopankreatektomie (Whipple-Operation) erforderlich machte. Die pathohistologische Untersuchung ergab ein Apudom des Pankreas. Die Charakteristika dieses sehr seltenen Tumors sowie Symptome und Behandlung werden beschrieben.

Une fillette de 13 ans présentant une tumeur de la tête du pancréas a subi une pancréatectomie et duodénectomie associée (opération de Whipple). L’examen histopathologique révéla un apudome pancréatique. Les caractéristiques de cette tumeur extrêmement rare, les symptômes et le traitement sont décrits.
