Zusammenfassung

Das Verständnis für einen Reflux setzt die Kenntnis des Kardiamechanismus voraus. Normalerweise regelt die Kardia den Zufluß der Speisen zum Magen und verhindert den gastro-oesophagealen Rückfluß. Außerhalb des Schluckaktes hält der terminale Oesophagus die Kardia verschlossen.
