Abstract
This excellent book which records the extensive experience and views of Prof. Br. Fritz Holle constitutes a significant contribution to knowledge of gastric surgery. We are honored that he has invited us to make a few remarks concerning gastric cancer based on the experience that our associates and we have had in the treatment of patients with this disease. This we are delighted to do.
