Zusammenfassung
Es wird über theoretische und empirische Untersuchungen zu zwei Modellfamilien der Standortplanung, das p-Median-Problem der kombinatorischen Optimierung und das p-Median-Problem in der euklidischen Ebene, berichtet. Im Zentrum steht die Aufbereitung von Optimierungsinformation in Form von Bildschirmgraphiken auf einem Personal Computer, um es so dem Benutzer zu ermöglichen, suboptimale Lösungen zu erzeugen, welche nicht im Modell enthaltene Zielvorstellungen berücksichtigen. Das zugehörige Projekt umfaßt im Kern die Entwicklung und Implementation geeigneter Interaktionsmöglichkeiten zwischen Benutzer und PC sowie Untersuchungen bezüglich Unterschieden zwischen euklidischer und Realentfernung in der Schweiz, Sensitivität und Lagrange-Multiplikatoren.
