Zusammenfassung

In der Ausdehnung, in der die Probleme der Heterosis als ein Ausschnitt aus dem Gebiet der quantitativen Vererbung zu betrachten sind, ist ihre genetische Basis schon in früheren Kapiteln diskutiert. Daneben hat die Heterosis indessen eine Reihe von speziellen genetischen Aspekten, deren Analyse wir in diesem Kapitel beginnen und in den folgenden abschließen. Bei der Analyse der Heterosis scheint es zweckmäßig, eine Reihe von genetischen Effekten zu unterscheiden, die jedoch zum Teil nur unter günstigen Umständen auf markierte Weise hervortreten. Unter gewöhnlichen Bedingungen greifen mehrere dieser Effekte derartig ineinander über und modifizieren einander in so hohem Grade, daß sie z. T. nicht als selbständige Effekte, sondern als verschiedene Aspekte desselben Phänomens erscheinen.
