Photochemical transformations of organic nitrites

  • Alexander Schönberg

Abstract

Though experiments on the photolysis of organic nitrites have been performed as early as 1936 [1] the importance of photochemical reactions in this field has been recognized only recently. A comprehensive review on earlier work in this field and on the scope of the reaction has been given some years ago by Nussbaum [2].
