Canalicular intubation silicone is valuable in the reconstruction of the lacrimal outflow system. It is also useful in lacerated canaliculus repair, lacrimal obstruction, complicated and uncomplicated dacryocystorhinostomies, fistulizing of outflow system to the tear lake in cancer resection, and other outflow-system reconstruction.
