Abstract

We have studied the spatial expansion of hot electron-hole plasma generated in polar semiconductors (CdSe, CdS) by two photons absorption at λ = 1.06μm or λ = 0.532 μm, respectively, using a mode locked YAG laser pulse of duration 30 ps.
