Abstract
Vibrational relaxation processes have received increasing interest in recent years. With picosecond light pulses and novel experimental techniques we are in the position to study vibronic relaxation in the excited electronic state of dye solutions and vibrational dynamics in the electronic ground state of simple liquids.
