Abstract
Zahlreiche Funktionen des Organismus sind Regulations- oder Regelungsvorgänge: Ein bestimmter Zustand, der sich durch eine meßbare Größe charakterisieren läßt, wird durch Regelung konstant gehalten oder an geänderte Bedürfnisse angepaßt [1, 4, 5, 8, 14] . Beispiele sind die Regulation der Körpertemperatur, des Blutdrucks und der Körperstellung im Schwerefeld. Auch der in der Medizin benutzte Begriff der Homöostase meint Regelungsvorgänge, mit denen der Organismus seine Betriebsbedingungen konstant hält. Bei der Ausführung solcher Regelungsaufgaben sind das Nervensystem oder/und das Hormonsystem wesentlich beteiligt.
