Zusammenfassung
Die Erhöhung des Blutdrucks in der Lungenschlagader kann verschiedene Ursachen haben. Die Weltgesundheitsorganisation unterscheidet in fünf verschiedene Klassen: Die pulmonalarterielle Hypertonie im engeren Sinne findet sich zum Beispiel bei der primären Form der pulmonalarteriellen Hypertonie oder im Rahmen von Kollagenerkrankungen. Die pulmonalvenöse Hypertonie ist Folge von Linksherzerkrankungen wie zum Beispiel Mitralstenose oder Herzinsuffizienz. Darüber hinaus wird die pulmonale Hypertonie bei Erkrankungen der Lunge mit und ohne Hypoxämie (COPD) bei direkten Erkrankungen der Lungengefäße (Sarkoidose) oder bei chronisch thrombotisch embolischen Prozessen unterschieden.
