Zusammenfassung

Bei den Straßenverkehrsunfällen gilt die Regel, je höher die Geschwindigkeit, desto schwerer wiegen die Folgen eines Unfalles. Straßenverkehrsunfälle sind durch einen auffallend hohen Prozentsatz kombinierter Verletzungen charakterisiert. Durch die äußerst heftigen Gewalteinwirkungen finden sich viel häufiger schwere Haut- und Weichteilzerreißungen, Trümmer- und Splitterbrüche als bei Arbeits und Sportunfällen.
